There once was a man named Joe. Joe didn't know anything about what Thanksgiving was about. He read books, newspapers and researched it his whole life. What is the meaning of Thanksgiving? He would ask himself. Have any of you heard of the Grinch? Joe was much more sad and desperate. Never has he loved or cared for someone. Joe was abandoned when he was only at the age 4. No-one was there for him. He had no-one to tell secrets, no-one to share happiness with, instead he just kept the joy all in. One day, he saw a beautiful lady named Spirit. His heart started to bloom. Curious, Joe didn't know what the feeling was. The next day was Thanksgiving, Joe stands by a store wasting his last cigarette until Spirit appears. The feeling was back. When Joe wanted to say something, nothing could come out. Spirit asked if he would like to join her family for dinner. Joe accepted the request. It was time to dance, he was shy. He didn't know what to do, so he just sat there while watching until Spirit asks him to dance. Touched, Joe didn't know what to say. They laughed and giggled while turning and twisting, Joe finally once in his life had fun! During dinner, he talked about his day, and how he loved being a guest at the party. He thanked the family and left with Spirit. As they walked home, they talked and got to share secrets. When he arrived home, she gently kissed him on the cheek and waved goodbye. "Love." Joe whispered. "Never knew what it could do" "Love is the true meaning of Thanksgiving" Said Joe to his children and his wife, Spirit. ♥The End♥
